EXHIBITION ROOM
The Exhibition Room is home to a regular series of displays which provide opportunities for interpretation and allow us to show rare and important objects.
Recent exhibitions have included loans of the Grand Service from the Royal Collection, Modern Designer Jewellery from the Goldsmiths Hall and Ceramics from Burghley Hall.
In 2006 the Yorkshire collector John Butler left the York Civic Trust his entire collection of over 400 examples of eighteenth-century glass and examples of the glass were on display in the Exhibition Room throughout the year and can still be seen in the House.
