The Exhibition Room is home to a regular series of displays which provide opportunities for interpretation and allow us to show rare and important objects.

Recent exhibitions have included loans of the Grand Service from the Royal Collection, Modern Designer Jewellery from the Goldsmiths Hall and Ceramics from Burghley Hall.
In 2006 the Yorkshire collector, John Butler, left York Civic Trust his entire collection of over 400 examples of 18th century glass and examples of the glass were on display in the Exhibition Room throughout the year and can still be seen in the House.
Up and coming for the autumn 2007 is an important exhibition of English ceramics from Rode Hall in Cheshire. This has been generously sponsored by the Friends of Fairfax House and Bonhams Auctioneers. The exhibition can be on display from 22 October to 31 December.
