An evening to put you into the spirit of Christmas. Experience the magical atmosphere of Fairfax House’s festive-clad interiors as you wander at will through each of the period rooms decked with evergreens and eighteenth-century decorations. Wine and light refreshments accompany yuletide entertainments , music and readings throughout the house. But beware – on the darkest, coldest nights of winter these tales may just take a spine-tingling turn! Exclusively for the Friends of Fairfax House and, for the first time, the York Georgians, this will be an occasion to relive the generous seasonal hospitality from the glory days of Anne and Lord Fairfax.
