View some of the stunning flower arrangements by Acomb Flower Guild which are part of the Flower Festival ‘Flowers in the English Country House’ at Fairfax House (Saturday 20th to Sunday 28th September).

More than 40 members of the flower guild, along with George Smith, one of the world’s most celebrated lecturers and demonstrators in flower decoration, have been researching 18th century floral art and planning floral designs for this autumn Festival. They have also visited other historic houses and have been inspired to create 25 designs which will be fitting for the magnificent Georgian house.
The Flower Festival can be viewed at Fairfax House during the opening hours which are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday 11am to 4.30pm and Sunday 1.30pm to 4.30pm. The normal House charges apply which are £5.00 (£4.00 concessions).
