Restoration of Fairfax House
A chance to listen to some of the people involved in restoring the House 25 years ago.
It is 25 years to the day since the Duchess of Kent opened Fairfax House to the public.
York Civic Trust’s restoration was praised then as an exemplar of what could be
done and we celebrate this with talks and presentations by some who were involved from
the very beginning.
