An illustrated talk and tour which explores the art of English Decorative plasterwork from 1570-1800. The complex messages which Lord Fairfax and his Italian stuccoist, Giuseppe Cortese, designed for the ceilings at Fairfax House, are also unravelled and explained. Binoculars will be useful.
