The Yorkshire Film Archive holds all sorts of material including film from the restoration of Fairfax House in the early 1980’s. We have persuaded the Archive to create a presentation of this material and so we will be lucky enough to see most of the original filming. Friends can see it as it was in its dire threatened condition and how far it has been developed since then. Many Friends and volunteers will probably not be aware of the full story and will find this an interesting event.
