Italy and the Grand Tour of Wine: Part 2

In the eighteenth century no self-respecting Grand ‘Tourist’ would regard their adventure as complete without spending time in Italy. Some of Europe’s oldest vineyards are to be found in the country which, at one time, was known as Oenotria (The Land of Wine). In part two of the Grand Tour of Wine, Richard Goodacre, Wine Expert and International Wine judge, will illustrate why Italy produces such a wide range of excellent wines by presenting a tasting of 6 wines featuring grape varieties that would have been enjoyed over 250 years ago.
