An immersive tour as part of York Georgian Festival...

As part of York Georgian Festival, this curator-led tour by Dr Sarah Burnage will allow you to discover the long and fascinating history and conservation journey of Fairfax House from 1760 to the present day.

You’ll step behind the scenes, getting to see the nooks and crannies normally hidden from public view.

As part of the tour, you will also get the unique opportunity to see some of the treasures not normally on display, and see priceless pieces of furniture opened up to reveal their secret uses and sumptuous interiors.

This is a unique and hands-on experience perfect for all historic house fans!

Please note that this tour is not suitable for children under the age of 16.

You can book your tickets by clicking here.
