Friends of Fairfax House Event

Lord Downshire will welcome us on a tour of his home. This late Georgian house built in 1803 is said to have the best staircase in the county, only open for a handful of days each year we have been able to arrange a private tour.

Set above the River Ure it commands stunning views over the dales . The house is furnished by the family treasures collected over the last three centuries.
